Day 40

My small act of kindness today:
My husband’s 13-year-old niece landed a leading role in a community theatre production of Honk! JR. She lives 200 miles from us, and many more miles from the rest of her extended family. We decided to drive to see her perform tomorrow and show support for her acting début.

Today I bought her red roses for after the play.
