Day 29

My small act of kindness today:

At age 94, my mother sees so much beauty in the world. She marvels at how the sun reflects off a crystal in her window, she notices how the angle of the sun crossing the sky changes with the seasons, and every evening the sunset is the more incredible than the day before.

Her flower bed is now in full bloom and she called me the other day with such excitement, “bring your camera, you have to get pictures of my flowers!”  I got off work early today and made a special trip with my camera.
